Our 2 Post Baseplate hoist installed in a home garage

One of our customers sent in these great photos of his 1987 Chevrolet El Camino up on one of our 2 Post Subframe Baseplate Model hoists.

The reason they decided to go with this model over the 2 Post Clear Floor Model was due to certain restrictions caused by the low ceiling height as well as the thickness of the concrete in their home garage.

Only having 3 meters to work with our baseplate model was the perfect fit for them and although they still can’t fully stand up under a vehicle it still provides ample access to do major jobs like gearbox removals and suspension overhauls. They couldn’t be happier! Our 240V single phase motor plugged straight into the 15amp outlet in their garage and the install was completed over a weekend.
