Circuit Race Car Livery
Before I set out building this track car I had a clear vision in my head as to how I wanted it to look.
When I designed the Joel’s Garage Gear branding a couple of years ago I always thought it would look great on the side of a race car and I wanted to make that a reality.
So I created this quick mock-up in Photoshop to illustrate my idea:
After getting the car painted and letting it cure for long enough I then had it machine polished to give the graphics a perfectly smooth surface to adhere to.
I then took it over to Marshane Media so they could print my artwork and lay down the graphics on the car.
As you can see they did a superb job and the car now looks even better than I imagined it would!
Keen followers of the build may have noticed the new tilt trailer I purchased from Baillie Industries.
I really rate their craftsmanship! It makes loading and unloading a lowered track car a breeze and the punched floor is ideal for strapping the car down in a hurry. As an added bonus it also tows really well.
The car is now ready for it’s wheel alignment later this week and then it will receive a full service before being taken to the dyno for a much needed tune.
